MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICER ADMINISTERING THE GOVERNMENT (Assent to Bills passed)

Mr Speaker: I have received a message from His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government of Singapore dated 28th May, 1957, informing me that His Excellency has, in accordance with the provisions of Section 62 (2) of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, assented to the following Bills : -

(i) Pineapple Industry Bill;

(ii) Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Bill;

(iii) Road Traffic (Amendment) Bill.
