Mrs Seow Peck Leng asked the Minister for Health how many main Maternal and Child Health Centres were constructed in 1959, and how many centres in the rural area do the newly constructed main centres conduct.
Dr Sheng Nam Chin: Mr Speaker, Sir, I have been asked to reply. No new main Maternal and Child Health Centres were established in 1959.
The second part of the question, therefore, does not arise.
