Mrs Seow Peck Leng asked the Minister for Health how many Urban Health Centres there are, the construction of which was started in 1959, how many of these were completed in that year, and how many were still under construction in December 1959.

Dr Sheng Nam Chin: Mr Speaker, Sir, I have been asked to reply. If the term "urban health centres" means maternal and child health clinics in the City area, then the answer is that no maternal and child health clinics were developed in 1959.
