Haji Rahmat bin Kenap asked the Minister for National Development and Communications if the Public Works Department will erect a bus shelter at the existing bus stop along the new Tanjong Katong Road extension as there are no premises nearby where commuters can wait in case of rain.

The Senior Minister of State for National Development (Dr Tan Eng Liang) (for the Minister for National Development and Communications): Mr Speaker, Sir, the Public Works Department will install a shelter at the bus stop along Tanjong Katong Road extension during the second quarter of 1978.
