Mr Ivan Baptist asked the Minister for National Development and Communications whether the landscaped area at the gable-end of Block 222, Lorong 8, Toa Payoh, can be utilised for building a community centre mainly for tennis and squash as at present no such facilities are handy for Lorong 8 residents.

Dr Tan Eng Liang (for the Minister for National Development and Communications): Mr Speaker, Sir, the site can be utilised for a community centre if the People's Association makes a request for it.
