The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (2) (g) of section 42 of the Singapore (Constitution) Order in Council, 1958, obtained from the Speaker, permission to be or to remain absent from sittings of the Assembly:

Inche Ahmad Jabri Bin Mohammad Akib (Southern Islands) - from 15th April to 14th June, 1963.

Dr Toh Chin Chye (Rochore), Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the House - from 19th April to 31st May, 1963.

Dr Thio Chan Bee (Tanglin) - from 29th April to 17th May, 1963.

Mr Yong Nyuk Lin (Geylang West), Minister for Education - extended from 16th April to 19th May, 1963.
