Haji Sha'ari bin Tadin asked the Minister for National Development and Communications whether it is proposed to construct a covered footpath from the bus shelter opposite Bedok View Primary School, New Upper Changi Road, to Apartment Blocks 74, 75, 76 and 77, so as to provide shelter for the residents of those Blocks during bad weather.

Mr Lim Kim San: The HDB has no plan to construct a covered footpath from the bus shelter opposite Bedok View Primary School, New Upper Changi Road, to Apartment Blocks 74, 75, 76 and 77. However, the Board will construct an open footpath for the convenience of the residents.
