PUBLIC TOILETS IN HOUSING AND DEVELOPMENT BOARD APARTMENT BLOCKS

Haji Sha'ari bin Tadin asked the Minister for National Development and Communications if he will request the Housing and Development Board to construct public toilets in some selected void decks of apartment blocks.

Mr Lim Kim San: Since there are public toilets in the markets, hawker centres, eating houses and other commercial premises within walking distances of flats in HDB estates, it is not necessary to provide toilets in selected void decks of the apartment blocks.
