The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (3) (i) of section 47 of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, obtained from the Speaker, permission to be or to remain absent from meetings of the Assembly:-

Mr R. Jumabhoy (Telok Ayer) - from 20th September to 31st October, 1957.

Mr Lim Cher Kheng (Changi) - from 8th October to 30th November, 1957.

Mr R. C. H. Lim (Nominated) - from 23rd September to 1st November, 1957.

Mr Chew Swee Kee (Whampoa) - from 27th September to 13th October, 1957.

Mr John Ede (Tanglin) - from 16th to 20th October, 1957.

Inche Ahmad Bin Ibrahim (Sembawang) - from 16th to 17th October, 1957.
