Inche Ahmad Jabri Bin Mohammad Akib asked the Minister for Education whether he can indicate approximately when will the building of the school at Blakang Mati be started.

Mr Yong Nyuk Lin: Mr Speaker. Sir, two sites are under consideration for the building of a 6-classroom primary school on Pulau Blakang Mati. The matter is now under consideration by the Planning Committee, and it is hoped to have the school ready early in 1962.
