The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (3) (i) of section 47 of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, obtained from the Speaker, permission to be or to remain absent from meetings of the Assembly:

Mr Chew Swee Kee (Whampoa) - from 8th May to 2nd June, 1958.

Mr Lee Kuan Yew (Tanjong Pagar) - from 9th to 11th June, 1958.

The Chief Minister (Dr Lim Yew Hock) - from 11th to 17th June, 1958.
