MESSAGE FROM THE GOVERNOR (Assent to Bills passed)

Mr Speaker: I have received a message from His Excellency the Governor dated the 28th April, 1958, informing me that His Excellency, in accordance with the provisions of section 62 (2) of the Singapore Colony Orders in Council, 1955 and 1956, had that day assented to the following Bills:

(i) Criminal Justice (Temporary Provisions) (Amendment) Bill;

(ii) Penal Code (Amendment) Bill;

(iii) Singapore Citizenship (Amendment No. 2) Bill.
