Mr Seah Peng Chuan asked the Minister for Commerce and Industry what steps the Government has taken to save small industries from peril because of the new taxation policy of the Federation Government.

Mr J. M. Jumabhoy: Sir, the adverse effect of the Federation's duties on our industries has been pointed out to the Federation Government, which has promised to give the matter further consideration.
