Mr Lim Cher Kheng asked the Chief Minister whether the Government will consider introducing amending legislation for compulsory voting in the forthcoming General Election.

The Chief Minister: Sir, the answer to this question will depend on the stand which this Assembly is prepared to take when it debates the motion dealing with this subject and standing in the name of the hon. Member for Changi.
