Mr Lee Choon Eng asked the Chief Secretary if he will introduce amending legislation so that more stringent measures could be taken against gangsters and kidnappers in Singapore.

Mr E. B. David: The hon. Member will now be aware that steps have already been taken to introduce legislation of the type he suggests.
